Today – in the middle of the lockdown period due to Coronavirus – the team at Event Hire UK have added disposable face masks to our range of hygiene equipment here online. Obviously, this is in response to consumer demand, bit right now and for the foreseeable future. The reality is that no-one really knows what the future looks like, but suffice to say that social distancing will be the norm for a few months yet (maybe more…), and so these face masks are a natural addition to our social distancing management collection which already includes vital equipment such as portable hand wash units, freestanding hand sanitiser dispenser stands, Tensabarriers and other queue management barriers for both now and when lockdown restrictions start to be lifted.
We are offering two different types of masks. The first is the 3 ply disposable face mask which is blue in colour and which conforms to EN14683:2019 standards. The second disposable face mask is the N95/FFP2 face mask which is white, adult size with an elastic loop.
You can buy these from Event Hire UK in the large quantities you might need. Will the general public also have to wear these as part of our daily lives? This very much depends upon which report you read as the official line has not been announced yet. However, for businesses, venues, factories, warehouses and almost any other place you can think of at the moment, they are a necessary item of PPE.
