With this in mind, today we’re delighted to let you know about two new mandaps that we now have available. A mandap (pronounced ‘mun-dup’) is a ceremonial structure, usually made in patterned wood, usually with four or six pillars and with a square or round top, under which certain Asian religions have their marriage ceremony conducted. Of course, other furniture hire is required as well as the mandap, typically items such as wedding throne chairs for the bride and groom, maybe a chaise longue for extended family, statues, props and certainly a havan which is a small fire pit over which the ceremony is conducted.
Our two new mandaps provide Asian brides and grooms, Asian wedding planners, hotels, Asian wedding venues and indeed anyone else involved in the Asian wedding industry with the perfect mandap for a wedding. Both the Aria round mandap and Aria square mandap are made in hand carved wood with beautiful ornate styling, come flowered with luxury silk flowers and even have LED downlights to complete the look.
