Q: Does this portable handwash unit need to be plumbed in?

A: No, there is no plumbing required. It does, however, need to be plugged into a standard electrical socket. The water used in the unit is pulled from a 15L container in the base of the unit which you will need to regularly replenish on site.

Q: Is there a tap?

A: No, the great thing is that this is a foot pump handwashing station, so there’s no need to physically touch any part of the sink with your hands. Simply activate dispense by pushing the lever at the bottom with your foot.

Q: I need lots of these for my venue – how many do you have?

Product Description

Our portable handwash unit is an excellent choice for any event or location, helping to maintain good levels of hygiene at your event, and ideal for food festivals, for instance. It maintains a 42 degree water temperature and is powered by 240v electric, with a 15L container capacity in the base of the unit. A foot pump activates the tap for maximum hygiene – this means that when you press the foot pedal, this activates the water to be heated through the electric system, and you can simply hold your hands under the tap without having to touch anything to provide the perfect handwashing facility at your event.

This portable handwash unit is for indoor use due to the fact that it is electrically powered. If you need to use it outdoors, then it must be undercover, away from any moisture.
