With many of the UK’s working population enjoying extended breaks over the festive period, the busy times for Event Hire UK’s logistics teams continue.
Demand for chair hire and banqueting table hire for family celebrations on Christmas Day and Boxing Day this year was high. Our excellent delivery record pre-Christmas this year meant that clients were as happy as ever. In this period between Christmas and New Year, however, all the event rental equipment that we delivered now has to be collected which is what we are currently busy doing.
At the same time, people’s thoughts over the Christmas break also obviously turned to New Year’s plans and so we are now also dealing with enquiries and orders for New Year’s Eve parties such as chairs and table rental, equipment for catering rental and also glasses to hire, especially wine glasses, rent champagne flutes and hire champagne saucers.
