    I would definitely recommend Event hire for any catering event as I received brilliant service from the delivery team who offered to help set up the event equipment, including the platemate, expertly and quickly. This was really helpful as we were very rushed and the team really reduced the pressure on us, allowing our event to run smoothly. The staff at Event hire were definitely a large part of why the catering at the event was so successful. 🙂

A: Platemates are part of any professional caterers equipment list when they are catering for large events. It allows them to transport plates of food, usually cold starters and desserts between the catering kitchen and the banqueting venue.

Q: Does it have wheels?

A: Yes, our catering platemates have castors, so they are easily moved around a catering kitchen and venue.

Q: How many plates can this hold?

A: It can hold a maximum of 84 standard dinner sized plates.
