Product Description

What better way to section off temporary areas backstage than with our modular pipe & drape section. Maybe you want to create some short-term dressing rooms, make-up areas or chill out zones behind the scenes. If this is the case, then our pole and drape system provides a simple, effective and affordable way to do it, with the minimum of hassle. The regular length of each pole is 2 metres, though this can be extended to 3 metres maximum. The ‘system’ comprises baseplates, two vertical pipes and s single horizontal pipe onto which the length of black fabric curtain sits. If you need event pipe and drape, then you are definitely in the right place here at Event Hire UK!

Pipe and drape is perfect for dressing venues and providing backdrops, or sectioning off specific areas within a venue. As its name would suggest, pipe and drape consists of lightweight aluminium poles which slot together to form a metal frame, onto which slides the fabric drape. Our pipe and drape systems are modular, meaning that you can determine the length and height according to the maximum dimensions of each section.

Pipe and drape is an easy and affordable way to dress a venue, enabling you as an event professional to transform almost any event space into an engaging and welcoming area for your occasion.  Think of sports halls, warehouses, aircraft hangars and large and tired function rooms in hotels, and you get an idea of where pole and drape rental is really useful to enhance your event venue.  There’s no doubt that a pipe & drape section modular backdrop can look stunning.

Pipe and drape hire for sectioning off specific areas

The versatility of pipe and drape installation systems means that the use of pipe & drape is not simply confined to the decoration aspect of an event – imagine a large venue where you need to create some small rooms or need to partition off a build area in a large exhibition hall, for example, or create some temporary changing rooms and need some privacy – all these are examples of where our pipe and drape systems could be used to great effect.

Whatever your requirement when it comes to pipe & drape section rental, the team here at Event Hire UK will be able to assist you. Our pipe & drape section systems are often found in exhibition halls – after all, these halls are often vast spaces which need to be dressed in both a functional and aesthetically pleasing way.

Exhibition organizers usually pay for the blank canvas of the hall and then sell the floor space to their exhibitors.  Of course, it’s sometimes the case that not all booths have been sold or, likewise, there is an area of the exhibition that needs to be curtained off to not be visible.  This is an example of where pipe and drape system rental comes into its own, providing a fast, portable and cost-effective way of screening off these areas. Blackout curtain hire has never been easier!

Backstage pipe & drape section systems for hire

And during the summer when there are lots of music festivals taking place, for instance, pipe & drape section hire is ideal for creating temporary dressing rooms for artists, make-up zones, temporary catering areas, green rooms and a whole host of other designated areas backstage. A pipe & drape section dressing room is perhaps not your first thought of how to use it, but versatility really is the name of the game when it comes to pole and drape rental!

Likewise, perhaps you’re an amateur or professional sports club that has landed a plum tie with a higher league opponent.  If this is the case, then you’ll want to maximize the revenue opportunity that this brings, and so why not section off an area of your clubhouse or other hospitality area with blackout drapes and make it into a VIP lounge for sponsors and local dignitaries.

Modular pipe and drape rental

There is no need for tools as our modular pipe & drape section systems are freestanding and portable and so no drilling or taping the drapes to walls is required.  They comprise thick steel baseplates that won’t damage your floor, along with attached upright and horizontal drape supports.  These pipe and drape systems really do enable you to change the look, shape and feel of an event space to ensure it looks aesthetically pleasing and to the high spec you want it to be and are even extendable.

Our freestanding pole and drape systems are available for you to hire online today with the experts at Event Hire UK.  You might want to benefit from our nationwide delivery and collection service directly into and out of your event venue, and we can also provide you with a supply and set-up service for your pipe and drape UK if you need it, where we can set up your rows of pipe and drape according to a pre-determined plan – something that is particularly useful for larger events.

Speak to us in advance if this is a service that you are interested in – after all, we are the #1 expert pipe & drape section hire company in the land! Please note that an additional fee will be payable based on the size of the set-up required and the length of time involved.
