Self-Collection & Return

We offer you a self-collection & return option for your equipment if you so wish. This way, you won’t incur any additional fees by using our transport service. But, likewise, you will need to ensure that you have a large-enough vehicle!

Of course, we will gladly give you a helping hand to load and unload your vehicle when you are at any of our distribution centres.

Please ensure that you have made payment in advance for your equipment, and that you bring a copy of photographic ID with you, along with an electronic or hard copy of your hire contract.

If you need any more help or assistance on this, please visit our FAQs below, or speak to one of our team members.

Q: Why would I self-collect and return my equipment?
A: If you are close to one of our sales and distribution centres, you can avoid paying the costs of using our transport service. Just make sure you have a large enough vehicle for your equipment to fit in!

Q: How do I schedule a self-collection?
A: Simply place your order online as normal, and your order will be ready for you to pick up on the day you specified.

Q: Where is my nearest sales & distribution centre, and what time are they open?
A: This depends upon the sales & distribution centre you choose. Please find the information you need here on our website.

Q: Do I need to have paid for my order before arrival?
A: Yes. We do not accept in-person payments by cash or cheque.

Q: Are there any vehicle requirements for self-collection?
A: This, of course, depends upon the type of equipment you are hiring. Only you will have an idea about your requirements, and whether it is likely to fit into the vehicle you are planning to use.

Q: Is there parking available at your sales & distribution centres?
A: Yes, there is free parking available at all our locations.

Q: Where shall I go upon arrival?
A: Always head to the office reception area first. A member of our team will then direct you to where you need to go.

Q: Do I need to bring ID with me to collect the equipment?
A: Yes, you need to bring some photo ID such as a driving licence or passport.

Q: Will I need to sign for the equipment when I pick it up?
A: Yes. Once you have done this, then the equipment is your responsibility.

Q: Will I need to bring a copy of my hire contract with me to collect my equipment?
A: That would be helpful, but not essential.

Q: Can I get assistance loading the equipment into my vehicle?
A: We will always endeavour to provide you with assistance, when possible.

Q: What happens if I miss my scheduled self-collection or return time?
A: We are generally quite flexible when it comes to this, as long as you are present during our normal opening times.

Q. What is my responsibility for equipment return?
A. When you return the equipment, tables and chairs should be folded or stacked. Chinaware, glass and cutlery should be cleaned and packed in their respective containers – glasses should be upside down in their crates. Linen should be dry and placed in bags provided. Any LPG appliances should be disconnected (following instructions in the operating & safety guides). Large cooking equipment should be free from food debris. Water boilers and urns should be emptied (following instructions in the operating & safety guides).
