If you’ve ever hired something before, you might have come across the phrases ‘dry hire’ and ‘wet hire’. There are terms used to describe the nature of the hire. To explain – ‘dry hire’ means that you are hiring something, and you will be operating / using it. ‘Wet hire’ means that you are hiring the equipment as well as the service.

Event bar hire units of all types

In the case of event bar hire, therefore, ‘dry hire’ means that you would just hire bar units themselves, and arrange to sort the bar function yourself. ‘Wet hire’ would mean that you are hiring a fully licensed bar, that includes not only the bar units themselves, but also the stock, staff and licence, for example.

Different settings, of course, call for different arrangements for your bar hire, and so just choose the best one to suit your needs.
