Take pride in what you do - it pays off!

November 5, 2014

Whatever you are looking for - catering equipment hire, furniture hire, cutlery hire, china hire or glassware hire, the rules of modern business are the same - always make sure your customers are satisfied.  This is certainly a challenge that the banks have faced over recent years.  Indeed, one of the biggest challenges for big mobile phone brands is to try to minimise what is known as "customer churn" - do we really have a loyalty to a particular network.....or do we have loyalty to handsets?  Either way, these companies spend millions on advertising, and their customers seem to change provider at the drop of a hat.  So, whilst the advertising brings in customers at the top end, they are losing them regularly at the bottom end....hence the challenge.

Whilst the event hire industry is not exactly the same as the mobile phone industry, the principles are the same.  If a customer isn't satisfied, then they will look elsewhere.  You can be sure that competitors out there - whatever the industry - will be happy to help.  Therefore, it is of vital importance to most companies to ensure that their customers are happy.

Yes, price is important, but is it everything?  Alot of customers also appreciate a high level of customer service.  In the event hire business, this starts with the initial contact that you receive whether it be online or over the phone, right through to taking delivery of your event hire equipment and then subsequent collection after the event.  It's great to hear that customers are happy - after all, they will then tell their friends and colleagues about the high quality customer service they received when they hired furniture.  However, customers who experience poor customer service are equally as likely - if not more likely - to tell everyone about what happened to them.

So, how do you ensure that customer service levels are high, all the time?  Well, you can write training manuals all day long which will tell you what your sales teams and delivery teams *should* be doing.  However, alot of it comes from actually taking pride in what you do.  Many employees at Event Hire UK have been in the industry for many years and are dedicated professionals aiming to provide a fist class service to each and every client who wants to hire catering equipment, hire tables or hire glasses for their event.  This professional pride counts for a lot and goes a long way to ensuring that business is successful.

Why not contact Event Hire UK and benefit from our top class customer service at your event?  We will make your event hire experience hassle free, and leave you to concentrate on making your event a real, memorable success.....and one that you yourself can take pride in.
