This weekend sees a huge amount of Christmas parties taking place up and down the country, as many offices, schools, factories and other establishments close for the Christmas period. This is a chance for staff to socialise on an informal basis and let their hair down over a few drinks. A word of caution, though – always drink responsibly.
Party all night long
For many companies in the events business, though, the lead up to Christmas means lots of hard work, as many of the jobs currently being undertaken are for us to supply the equipment for the parties to take place! As an example, all weekend, the Event Hire Midlands team will be working, supplying, washing and even providing the back of house staff for arena party nights, with the amount of crockery such as dinner plates, dessert bowls and cutlery pieces amounting to thousands of pieces a night – lots of work, but we’re up to the challenge!
Prior to the large corporate party nights, of course, the main furniture that is required for 2,000 covers of guests is required to be set up, from Chiavari chairs, banqueting tables, mobile bars and disco floors – all essential items needed for a successful party – food, drink and disco!
