Well, with only 24 hours to go before the much anticipated General Election, the teams at Event Hire UK‘s depots in London, the Midlands and the North are in full swing making preparations and dispatching furniture hire products to polling stations and counting centres up and down the country.
As you might imagine, our trestle tables are much in demand at election time (and most other times to be honest!) – this is because we have thousands available in stock, in good condition, and they are portable, stackable and easily erected and dismantled with metal folding legs, making them ideal for temporary events such as polling stations.
All our rectangular tables have been booked up for months in advance ahead of tomorrow’s elections, so it’s not up to our transport teams to make sure that all the tables are delivered on schedule and, where required, set-up to plan, to the satisfaction of our valued clients.
And it’s not just trestle table hire that is demand at this time for the elections – we are also hiring out chairs, portable office screens, tensabarriers and much more – all different types of furniture hire products which are essential for polling stations.
