The football aficionados amongst you (some of whom work at Event Hire UK), will no doubt be loving the fact that the Champions League is now in its final stages of the competition, with the leading clubs in Europe battling it out for this coveted and prestigious trophy.
Of course, these high profile football matches and other important sporting occasions bring with them important corporate hospitality events which run alongside. These can be for the event organisers, the sponsors, their clients and other invited dignitaries and VIPs.
One such occasion was last night at the Etihad Stadium, the home of the English champions-elect, Manchester City FC, who were hosting Liverpool FC in the Champions League quarter-final 2nd leg tie.
For the hospitality marquee in the grounds outside the stadium, Event Hire UK provided all the temporary kitchen installation equipment, cold rooms and all the china, cutlery and glass for this hospitality occasion. Pictured is one of the Event Hire trucks on arrival at the Etihad.
It was great to receive some positive feedback this morning from this client, this being;
“I just wanted to pass on our thanks to you and the wider team, who all made our lives a little easier into the run-up to last night’s event.
I know we had a few teething problems, but all the last-minute changes were dealt with the upmost professionalism and dedication to making it all work, no matter what was needed.”
Disappointingly for Manchester City fans, however, Liverpool were the eventual winners of the tie, and it is them who now progress through to the semi-finals of the Champions League and we, of course, wish them the very best of luck.
