Today sees the beginning of the now-world famous Glastonbury festival, which is the largest greenfield music festival in the world, attracting over 175,000 visitors over the 5 day event. Located in Somerset, the event has a colourful history and is the most popular event in the calendar for many festival-goers, with tickets this year having sold out in a record 26 minutes.
Some of the Event Hire transport team have been busy on site this week delivering catering equipment hire products, which will no doubt contribute towards a memorable event for all concerned.
Often renowned for being a mud bath (the great British summer!), visitors to Glastonbury will be pleased to see that the forecast is relatively dry, with temperatures around the 19/20 degrees mark, so it promises to be a fantastic event yet again this year!
