Event Hire at Downton Abbey

Here at Event Hire UK, we’re fortunate enough to be able to visit some beautiful places around the country, none more so than last week at Highclere Castle in Hampshire - the location for ITV’s Emmy-award winning drama ‘Downton Abbey’.  This Jacobethan-style Grade I listed stately home is set within a stunning 5,000 acre estate and was originally built in 1679. 

As well as being open to the public, Highclere Castle also plays host to a number of large ticketed events during the year, with this particular event being the Downton Abbey Live open air concert featuring The Chamber Orchestra of London which proved to be a fantastic celebration of the iconic TV series and the music from the show.
