Here in the UK, we like to adopt trends from the USA, and one of these takes place this Friday 23rd November. ‘Black Friday’ is the informal name given to the day after Thanksgiving Day in the USA, and is widely regarded as being the start of the Christmas shopping season. Here in the UK, ‘Black Friday’ even seems to have turned from being a single day through to what seems like weeks!
You can’t have failed to notice that many retailers have been promoting their ‘Black Friday’ deals for some time now across TV, the internet, radio and so on, in an attempt to win a larger share of the Christmas spending bonanza.
Here at Event Hire UK, however, we prefer to think that our prices are great all year round, meaning that there’s no need for us to offer ‘Black Friday’ deals. Our clients know and understand that they get great deals when it comes to chair hire, furniture hire, catering equipment hire, cutlery, chinaware and glassware hire for their parties, weddings and events throughout the year.
One word of advice though if you do decide that Black Friday is your time to get the latest TV or gadget…do your research! Are you 100% sure that ALL ‘Black Friday’ deals really are great deals?
