To give you an idea, our London sales and distribution centre has around 20,000 glass water tumblers – that’s one particular type of glass in a whole range that we offer – and these 20,000 glasses are hired out most of the time. Likewise, we have around 15,000 tasting bowls and forks for canapé events that again are in huge demand at this time of year. Some of these numbers are eye-watering, yet we still have to constantly make sure that we have enough to meet the demand of our clients.
Looking around at our hire system, there are certain items that are already completely booked out for the whole of the run-up to Christmas.
